These two wild sisters were mostly influenced by their rocker parents- they were raised up in the 80's Manhattan NYC scene, surrounded by Punk and New Wave sounds. Later, the family moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the parents formed a band called "Down town B.A". The band recorded a couple of songs, but never played live; nevertheless, it influenced the sisters.. artistic careers - as well as their bands name. By 1996, Melissa and Sabrina tried to put together a punk rock band, but the project didn't last much and the sisters.. careers went separated ways... Sabrina wanted to become an actress, so she spent four years studying at the "National University of Drama", and devoted herself to underground theater and independent films. Melissa kept involved with music; she got a degree at "Berkley College of Music" in Argentina. She played in many metal and rock bands and turned out a great drummer and a guitar player. After ten crazy years, Melissa started to experiment with different sounds with synthesizers, and writing
and producing her own songs. Then, of course, she asked her sister Sabrina to sing along with her, and together they became "The B.A Sisters".

Estas dos hermanas, Sabrina Love y Melissa Evila, se vieron influenciadas por sus padres rockeros, en donde se criaron en Manhattan, NYC en los 80's absorbiendo sonidos de punk y new wave. Luego de unos anos se mudaron a Buenos Aires en donde sus padres formaron una banda de new wave llamada Down Town B.A. donde grabaron un EP pero nunca llegaron a tocar en vivo, pero si influenciaron a estas hermanas en sus carreras artisiticas y en el nombre de la banda. Sabrina decidio volcarse a la actuacion en donde lo hizo en la escuela de arte dramatico haciendo teatro under y apariciones en la television como el bar tv 2, Melissa se dedico a la musica en donde curso sus estudios en Berklee y toco en bandas de diferentes estilos de rock y metal en donde se desarrollo como baterista, guitarrista y bajista. Luego de varios anos de idas y venidas , en el 2006, Melissa Evila decidio experimentar con diferentes sonidos y estilos mediante el uso de syntetitizadores, escribiendo y produciendo sus propios temas en donde llamo como vocalista a su hermana mayor Sabrina Love dandose a llamar The B.A. SISTERS.
